On Tuesday, January 30th 2018, Dr. Alice DeWittie will talk to us about the iGen.
The Millennial conversation is old news. There’s a new kid in town and they’re known as the iGen. They are your kids, your college students and your next new hire. And they think different. Join us for a fascinating exploration of what makes the iGen tick and how they are already shaping our world. Dr. Alice DeWittie, principal of Summit High School, will lead our discussion. She spends every day with 1,513 iGen students and thus is uniquely qualified to give us insights into this emerging generation. You’ll leave the meeting challenged, inspired, troubled and informed by this timely topic. |
This highly interactive talk will address two aspects of the iGen population, digital media and maturity and what you can do about it.
How do we navigate the fluid waters of social technology with our family, employees and colleagues?
Will the iGen ever grow up?
There’s a major difference in our current youth from those that have gone before it. We are experiencing rapid societal change and the need for critical thinking has never been more apparent. We have a real challenge ahead for us, but there are concrete and hopeful things we can do to help our youth grow into maturity.
