Former mayor of Bend, Jeff Eager, spoke at our Rotary lunch today.

The Rotary Club of Greater Bend along with the Rotary Club of Bend High Desert announces $5,000 of funding four partial scholarships to Oregon State University-Cascades. Club funds were matched by Rotary District 5110 under Rotary’s 2016-17 District Grant Program where up to $2000 is matched one-for-one by district to fund programs in support of local needs.

Scholarship recipients were Erin Qadir, Quaylyn Cleveland, Kelly Smith and Marcella Guerra. Attached is a letter of appreciation from Becky Johnson, the VP of OSU-Cascades.
